Bato Balani Foundation Inc
Established in 1991, Bato Balani Foundation Inc (BBFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization engaged in the conceptualization and implementation of education development programs for its corporate benefactors. It was named after Bato Balani for Science and Technology, a publication of Diwa Learning Systems Inc. As a foundation dedicated in uplifting the quality of education in the Philippines, BBFI provides such programs as teacher training, school administration management development, school and library assistance and development, scholarships, disaster response, and environmental awareness.
In its continuing aim to enhance the programs and curriculum of public universities, vocational schools, community-based groups and cooperatives, BBFI added in its lineup a training module for Basic Economics and Business Management by becoming the official license holder of the WIWAG® Business Week in 2010.
BBFI serves as the social development arm of Afreight Asia Pacific Ltd, Diwa Learning Systems Inc, Fastech Synergy Ltd, First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities, Asset Growth Inc, Lima Park Hotel, Omni Asia Aviation, and First Asia Venture Capital Inc.
